S3 Launch Video

Gogoro is a cultural and tech icon among urban riders, dominating Taiwan’s electric scooter market as the top choice for many. In collaboration with MixCode Studio, I was responsible for designing the mid‑section of the launch video, shaping the cityscape visuals and creating elements that showcased the scooter’s performance capabilities.

Since Gogoro was highly popular among young urban riders, Spider‑Man: Into the Spider‑Verse and Arcane had just emerged as cultural phenomena at the time. To connect with this audience, our concept embraced vibrant, 2D comic-like aesthetics, blending 2D and 3D elements to create a cyberpunk atmosphere. My task was to design two riding paths through the city, one to showcase straight‑line acceleration and the other is cornering agility.

The product launch video went live in late June 2020. In the following month, the Gogoro S3 series recorded a 35% increase new registrations within the product line. By the end of 2020, the Gogoro Network had surpassed 359,000 riders and was delivering over 240,000 daily battery swaps, underscoring its strong market penetration and community engagement.
