Background
This project was produced for Ogilvy’s campaign promoting Shiseido Vital Protection. As one of Shiseido’s long-standing skincare products, The film aimed to refresh the product’s presence with a simple and elegant promotional story.
Concept
Instead of showing wrinkles literally, we used origami folds as a metaphor. The film shows paper creases gently smoothing out with the cream, symbolizing its wrinkle-reducing effect. The product’s faceted glass cap, diamond-like in form, refracts light that represents this effect. Caustic light passes through it and shines on the origami, gradually softening the folds.
